We just had a cold front come through the Prescott
area and dumped 1.4 inches of rain. Last night's
temp was 39 degrees and when I went out today
it was sunny and clear and 65 degrees. Saw a
4 foot Sonoran Gopher snake and a Wandering
Garter snake in about an hour of flipping boards
by a lake.

This is what I first saw after flipping a board.......

And on the way back to the truck I also flipped....

Got a late start (already dark) and found this SThis time of the year they are quite common.
